Opt for the Range of View (ROV) screen and monitor your Ri230’s surroundings as well as trip data and fuel usage. All of this wake surfing performance combines to allow the Ri230 to manage fuel with more than 50% better efficiency than competitors. RAMFILL2 combines high performance with the extreme reliability of ball valves, typically reserved for yacht fuel systems. Available RAMFILL2 or "Baller Ballast" accounts for more than half of the Ri230s ballast and fills in 90 seconds thanks to fill and drain gates comprised of 2" stainless steel ball valves. They combine for as much as 5850 pounds of ballast from the factory. The Ri230 performance also benefits from 7 independently filled and drained ballast areas placed evenly throughout the boat. This creates more water displacement on the surf corner for a wide range of surf wave adjustment. The available QuickSurf Pro Surf System consists of long stainless-steel blades on the rear corners of the boat branded with the Centurion Warrior to create lift opposite the surf side. The balance of Centurion Opti-V Hull includes a hook under the Ri230, which changes the running attitude of the boat to get the nose down and the entire “v” of the running surface cutting through chop and/or displacing water for wake surfing and wakeboarding. My thoughts are:īlockage between the raw water pump and inletīlockage in the water jackets of the engine. The Centurion Ri230 is best of both Worlds thanks in large part to the Opti-V running surface. If the circulation pump is bad, it would be weeping water (A sign of seal failure) bfrom the bottom of it. This cycle of open and closing will keep the temperature down on the risers. When the thermostat opens, cool water goes into the engine, while hot water flows into the exhaust riser. When the thermostat is shut cool lake water is still flowing through the exhaust risers. The raw water pump's two jobs are to bring cool lake water to the engine and the exhause risers. If you can't touch them, or if burnt rubber smells are noticed, there is most likely restricted flow in the raw water pump circuit. 1-45 results of 125 for: Boat Plumbing Fixtures & Supplies: Raw Water Intake Strainers & Parts. If its holding temperature at idle, the thermostat is doing its job. (sorry for the ramble, it has been a long day, first day out with the girlfriends kids and the boat doesnt work, FML) I took off the hose between the intake and the raw water pump and placed it in a bucket of water (all done while on the lake) and it did not seem to be sucking any water through the engine.Īny ideas what can be the problem? Would a stuck thermostat not allow water to be sucked through the engine? POssible bad raw water pump? Now that I have the boat on the trailer at my house, where would the logical first step being to figure out the problem? Any help would be appreciated. But there does not seem to be any water flow through the strainer. Took apart the raw water intake, ensured all the hose clamps are tight, and checked the impeller. I was able to motor at 5 mph and the remained normal. ![]() Initially at idle the temp stayed at 160, but when increased to 20-25 mph the temp spiked again and the engine went into limp mode. Shut it down and it immediately went down. When started to ride, the temp spiked at around 190. Today was out on the water and the boat ran fine for about ten minutes, when we stopped and waited for the ballast to fill. How can you tell the difference between a problem with the raw water pump and the engine cooling pump, the thermostat freezing or something different?
